MARATHON RESULTS ON CD-ROM
Results. It might be the most active page on any marathon event's web site particularly in the days and weeks following
the marathon. The emphasis on results is such a large part of the marathon experience that the production of glossy, photo-filled
results booklets is part of the standard operating procedure for all marathons today. And, it's one of the most expensive
elements of a quality event that race directors have to deal with. We have a better way.
Today, over 93% of all marathon (and half-marathon & relay) participants own a computer or have one in the house
either a desk top or lap top or both. So, event result information provided on CD-Rom is, today, something that everyone
can understand and use to it's fullest potential. And, it's far less expensive to create AND ship than a traditional results
booklet. Plus, we make it easy.
The Product
Very simply, we create a fully interactive CDRom that even the most elementary computer users will find easy to navigate
through. Even those who have a computer but are not connected to the internet will be able to use most of the material available
on our ResultCD's. Here's how it works:
You provide us with materials (content) for the CD choose anything you want including:
- Complete Results of all events in .PDF file format and links to results pages on your event's website.
- Photos - dozens of them...even hundreds.
- Articles written by local journalists, event organizers and testimonials from participants.
- Sponsor acknowledgement with links to their prospective websites
- Links to the event's main website for complete information
- Course maps and detailed information.
- Video. Here's a chance to make your event come alive with virtual course tours, race day coverage, special interviews
and more.
The Demo
The following link is a Demo of our ResultCD that features one of North America's best new marathon events, The Road Runner
Akron Marathon. Like all the CDRom's we produce, the disc is easily interactive and produced to AutoRun on all computers
with this capability. In other words, you just stick it in and it plays.
While you're watching and using the demo CD, remember that we do all of the creation and reproduction of the CD's.
You simply provide us with the material and your participants will have their ResultCD's in a matter of a few weeks rather
than months like most results booklets.

Pricing & Options for ResultCD's

Basic Package
Our basic package includes everything found on the Demo CD provided. These elements include:
1)The creation of a Master CDRom and the first 100 copies packaged in CD sleeves.
2)A link to your web site's results page and/or a .PDF* file of the complete results for all events.
3)A photo page that includes up to 50 photos. In this case, photos are thumbnailed and enlarged to normal size by simply
clicking on each image.
4)A page dedicated to course information: maps and links to details found on the event website.
5)Up to 5 articles/testimonials from local journalists, race organizers and participants.
6)Up to three video files. These can be race coverage footage, virtual course tours or an opening live greeting from
your race director. Up to 20 minutes of total video**.
7)Links for up to 25 sponsors. Up to 6 on the CD's front page. A separate Sponsor's page will contain the rest.
*A link to the most recent Adobe Reader free download will be provided on any page requiring the use of .PDF files
**Video provided must be fully edited and within time limits.
COST: $500.00
Subsequent CDRom's
After the first 100 CD's, th cost of additional CD's is: 80¢/CDRom
(All CD's come packaged in CD sleeves unless other packaging is requested call or Email for details)

Add On's
- Photos Add more than 50 photos to your CDRom for an additional 20¢/photo
- Video
Video is what we do at KIBO Productions and we can help you make the addition of video to your ResultCD's an easy
option. Here's how:
Option #1: Shoot and fully edit video of your event and send us the completed video files for inclusion on your ResultsCD.
Cost: Nothing - it's part of the basic package if you choose.
Option #2: You shoot video of the weekend: the expo, the race even get some interviews. Send us up to 45 minutes of
raw footage and we'll edit together a quality highlight video approximately 6 minutes in length that will keep viewers watching:
Cost: $150.00
Option #3: Bring us to your event. Our specialty is providing video footage of endurance events and we can not only
provide video for your ResultsCD, but we also create promotional material on DVD and for inclusion on your event's website.
Cost: $700 + Travel
